WorkBase Sync is a folder synchronization utility. It allows you to define multiple profiles, each with its own source and destination folder. Each profile can also have any number of wildcard specifications. These determine which files are included in the synchronization process. Additionally, specific sub-folders and wildcard specifications can be excluded, allowing you to exclude unwanted folders and files. You can choose to only synchronize the files in the source and destination folders or you can include sub-folders and their contents. The WorkBase Sync Dashboard gives you an 'at a glance' view of the source and destination files and indicates what's new, missing, or changed. It provides access to built-in and custom sync methods that allow you to tailor exactly how you synchronize the folders. From the Dashboard you can also bring up a view of the files themselves and decide on a case-by-case basis whether they should be copied, restored, or deleted. This view, called the Comparison File Display, includes filters to limit how many files you view at a time. All in all the range of features and ease of use of WorkBase Sync makes it suitable for novice and expert users alike. It works well for syncing files to USB drives, digital music devices, digital cameras, removable hard disks, network drives, or any other normally accessible disk drive. WorkBase Sync provides several customization options, includes optional logging, and integrates with file comparison utilities.
