Avior Computing Launches and Announces Steve Katz, Former CISO at Citigroup, JP Morgan, and Merrill Lynch, Has Joined Avior’s Board of Directors

Avior Computing, Inc., today formally launched in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance market. Avior also announced today that Steve Katz has joined the Avior Board of Directors. Widely recognized as the first CISO, and former CISO at Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan, Steve Katz has a distinguished record of achievement spanning twenty-five years in the management of information security and privacy.

Steve Katz serves on the Board of Directors of several information security start-ups, and he is an executive advisor to Deloitte. He was the first Chairman of the Financial Sector Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), and continues as an advisor to the group. Steve has also testified before Congress numerous times on information security issues. Steve is a CISSP, and he is also a member of the (ISC)² Americas Advisory Board for Information Systems Security.
