Wrocklage Intermedia GmbH, a leading provider of content security, PDF and digital signature software, today announced its new product “Aloaha Smart Card Connector”. The Aloaha Smart Card Connector allows applications to use smart card based cryptographic services via Microsoft Cryptographic API, PKCS #11 or Aloahas native Card Interface. "The Aloaha Card Technology existed already for a long time in our PDF Products and it was just a logical step to open our proven technology to other applications," explained Stefan Engelbert. "With the Aloaha Smart Card Solutions any user can now experience the advantages of the new electronic ID Cards such as National ID Card, Health Cards or commercial Signature Cards."

Aloahas's new Smart Card Connector, including a Microsoft approved CSP (Cryptographic Service Provider) and a PKCS #11, provides native, plug & play security enhancement to Microsoft Windows operating systems and Applications using various Smart Cards such as the German Health Insurance Card, Health Professional Card, Belgium e-ID (Belpic), Swiss GS1, Italian Infocamere, SagemOrga Micardo, CardOS, Sicrypt, and more.

Integration of the Aloaha Card Connector is unbelievably simple and quick. The system is operable after a 2-minute installation process.

Once the CSP is installed, the Aloaha supported Smart Cards become integrated into your Windows environment, providing you with a highly secured, mobile, certificate storage solution. With the certificates stored on your Smart Card, you can easily improve your Windows Security in many ways.
