Neugent’s SP-3000 Standalone Series Now on Walls

Neugent Technologies, a leading developer of Linux-based digital video surveillance solutions today unveils the all-new SP-3000 mini-wall mount embedded DVR. Neugent’s latest offering harnesses a unique space-saving design coupled with high capabilities you wouldn't expect in such a small form factor. With stability and compact wallmount chassis, SP-3000 is the affordable choice for many retail and commercial establishments, franchise areas, convenience stores and small finance institutions.

Designed for space-conscious users, SP-3000 immediately frees up square footage with its wallmount design. And with its locked cabinet look, it protects the system from unauthorized access and tampering. “We want to offer something practical, requires simple installation and more cost-effective to clients, so we made such design”, says Michael Jang, CEO of Neugent.

SP-3000 mini-wallmount embedded DVR features a powerful networking function for remote management and flexibility to integrate with a wide range of distributed systems in the future. It also supports simultaneous access from more than one PC and mobile phone with minimum use of bandwidth. The bundled remote client software enables multi-site, central monitoring station and web browser monitoring. “With this capability, you can secure your people, assets and property remotely from anywhere within a network,” added Michael Jang.

Neugent’s SP-3000 Series utilizes advanced hardware MPEG4 compression that guarantees real-time DVD-quality recording at D1 (720 x 576) resolution. It also offer a wide array of features, including straightforward user interface via remote control and side panel buttons, network backup, MPEG4 and JPEG video streaming, motion detection, PTZ control, alarm notifications and much more. It includes two slots for high capacity HDDs, as well as a built-in two USB (2.0) port.

The SP-3000 Series comes in 4, 8 and 16 channel models.
