This ISV-partnership bundles the eForm-Management Server LiveForms from TransWare AG, which is based on powerful XML-technologies, with the high-performance, native XML-database TAMINO™ from Software AG.
A "named user" licence-model or with CPU-licences for an unlimited count of users provides licensing flexibility. eForms are easily created in Microsoft Office Word 2003 as XML (Word-ML) files and uploaded to LiveForms for TAMINO™. HTML data-entry-forms are created on the fly as new templates for the eForm-server by the power of XSL-transformations. Server-side technologies of LiveForms are JAVA, J2EE, SOAP, XML and XSLT.
LiveForms eForms-management server for TAMINO™ is available for Windows-Servers 2000, XP or 2003 and also for several open systems like Unix, LINUX up to IBM zSeries. The role-based LiveForms permits media-break free workflows in enterprise-portals or eGovernment-solutions from requesters to business users without causing any legal issues.
With Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) the authenticity of the eForms-content and documents is guaranteed. A smart versions-management includes all document-templates with validation-dates and also the input of content is versioned. A form can be changed in a sequence of process-steps by many users in different, role-associated areas of the form.
LiveForms is a SOAP-server (and also client) and follows the service-orientated architecture principles (SoA) und allows flexible load and store of all information directly to (legacy-) applications. LiveForms is highly optimized for TAMINO™ to store not only XML form-content, also all control-data is natively stored to the XML-database. Other SQL-databases are not required; LiveForms allows 100% continuous XML datamanagement with TAMINO™.
LiveForms uses default and stable workflows for different roles and can be connected with workflow-adapter technology to standard XPDL or BPEL process engines. LiveForms does a complete support of portal-technologies with JSR-168, the thin-client eFormsportlets can be included to enterprise portals like mySAP®, IBM Websphere® or BEA®.
LiveForms provides flexible use-cases, high reusability and low TCO for efficient businessprocess optimizations.
