VeriTask Software Demonstrates Biometric Employee Time Clock™ at Texas Association of Staffing Trade Show
VeriTask Software | 21 Feb 2007
VeriTask Software, a developer of integrated biometric software solutions designed to enhance the quality and efficiency of human capital management, today announced the exhibition of its Biometric Employee Time Clock™ 2.4 at the firm’s booth at the Texas Association of Staffing Annual Conference trade show in Irving, Texas, Feb. 28-March 1, 2007. The Texas Association of Staffing trade show targets temporary staffing agencies in Texas. The Biometric Employee Time Clock™ is a perfect addition to and revenue generator for such companies as it takes away the responsibility of recording and reporting, making it easier for their customers to utilize their services.
The Biometric Employee Time Clock™ 2.4, the professional edition of VeriTask’s Biometric Employee Time Clock™, uses biotechnology to verify an employee’s identity with just a fingerprint. The program recognizes each employee’s fingerprint as they enter and leave the company and keeps a precise record of the time so employers know exactly when and how much their employees work. Because the Biometric Employee Time Clock™ uses a fingerprint authentication scanner, it also eliminates the possibility of “buddy punching,” or when one employee clocks in for another.
The system is able to save employers time and money by ensuring that they only pay employees for the exact amount of time they work and by replacing paper timesheets and manual calculations. The application has the ability to manage a virtually unlimited number of employees, calculate payroll and overtime and is compatible with QuickBooks® Pro, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, so information can be exported and printed in seconds.
“The Biometric Employee Time Clock™ integrates biotechnology and innovative time capture and reporting software into a simple to use platform that is an affordable addition to the operation of any small to mid-sized business,” said Kelley Peters, CEO of VeriTask Software. “It is superior to badge readers, passwords and other alternatives from an absolute identification standpoint because it forces employees to log in themselves. Its compatibility with QuickBooks and availability in both web-based and TCP / IP versions make it highly functional in even remote locations.”
Peters will appear at the Texas Association of Staffing trade show to give a live demonstration of many of the company’s products, including the Biometric Employee Time Clock™ and the Employee Task Chaser™.
