Bicom Systems demonstrates that its officeBOX product is ready for large scale distribution.
Bicom Systems have announced that as of today, resellers and network engineers are able to acquire officeBOXes locally in the UK. VoIPon is the first distributor in the UK to offer the officeBOX product, with the high quality pre-sales structure Bicom insist on, ensuring that customers receive the best possible advice and service.
"We chose VoIPon for the launch of this new turnkey appliance because of the vision they set out to promote and support robust commercial solutions, built on open standards technology," said Stephen Wingfield, Sales Manager Bicom Systems, "It is very important to us that customers are provided with the correct advice for what are often deployments with unique and challenging customer requirements."
Selecting the Bicom range of IP PBX products was a logical choice for VoIPon, a key player in the VoIP market.
"We already supply the IP telephony market with a wide range of goods. We wanted to work with a company that could provide a full range of powerful, tested and proven appliances based on open-source technologies. officeBOX is ideal for the mid-range market. It is solid state and with two PCI slots can handle combinations of analogue, BRI and PRI. It can be desk, floor, or rack mounted. Bicom Systems expects to announce the introduction of other appliances shortly. This will provide resellers and end-users with an instant choice of purpose-built appliances. All appliances will have ‘plug & play’ options with PCI cards. This means an exact fit can be chosen by the reseller according to the customer’s need. All appliances use Bicom Systems’ PBXware, the World’s first turnkey open standards telephony solution, deploying worldwide since 2003.
