iFun-Apps LLC Announces Ahoy and Ahoy! Lite Applications for iPhone

iFun*Apps LLC, an indie software development shop based in Denver, Colorado announces its first application suite titled “Ahoy” and “Ahoy! Lite,” available today on the Apple App Store. Ahoy and Ahoy! Lite, also known as the Ahoy Product Suite, allow users to share contact information directly from the address book on their IPod Touch or IPhone--in real time, over the internet.

The Ahoy Product Suite is an exciting software release. Exciting because it bypasses traditional means of exchanging contact information such as MMS, Bluetooth, SMS or other technologies. Install Ahoy or Ahoy! Lite on your device and select an address book entry, and share it. The receiving Ahoy or Ahoy! Lite user will immediately see who is sharing via a list view. The list view shows everyone who is currently sharing his or her contact information.

Ahoy and Ahoy! Lite users can exchange entries directly to and from their device address books. The Ahoy Product Suite makes sharing contact information fast, easy, and fun. Enter contact information in two simple steps: 1. open the application and 2. press a button. That’s all.

Ahoy is offered in two versions, Free and Paid. The free version, Ahoy! Lite, contains most functions found on the full version, Ahoy. Ahoy! Lite restricts the sharing of only certain contact information. Ahoy, costing only a few dollars, allows more contact information to be shared, including mailing addresses and associated photos. Each version is compatible with the other.

Both Ahoy and Ahoy! Lite are available today on Apple’s App Store featured on the iPhone or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
